An angry Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Virbhadra Singh threatened to interrupt the cameras of media persons on being asked about accusations of corruption against him.
“I will break your cameras. Do you not have other try to do?” he retorted when reporters asked him about graft accusations. The incident happened at Ani in Kullu district Tuesday evening when some media persons searched for his response to the new charges levelled against him through the BJP.
Disregarding charges against him as “baseless”, he stated, “I will cope with each one of these issues following the election on November 4.”
The previous Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister had on Tuesday dismissed accusations through the BJP yet others of tax evasion, money-washing and forgery as “false and fabricated” coupled with threatened action against individuals behind the “malicious” campaign in front of Himachal Pradesh Set up polls.
BJP leader Arun Jaitley had alleged that Mr. Singh had changed his tax account books from 2008 let's start to exhibit a forged, back-dated contract along with a highly inflated earnings close to Rs. 6.5 crore.
Mr. Singh had are available underneath the scanner following accusations he had received obligations from the steel company which in fact had emerged after raids were carried out around the firm this year.
Lashing out at Mr. Jaitley to make the accusations, Mr. Singh had stated the “malicious” campaign against him has been completed to divert his attention in the poll campaign and make confusion within the minds of voters.
