BSP chief Mayawati on Monday lashed out at BJP and Congress, alleging both political parties of working underneath the pressure of industrialists and company houses who provide them election funds. "Both Congress and BJP get sponsors who enable them to in elections and then these parties formulate the majority of the guidelines which are targeted to profit such industrialists and company houses," she stated in election rallies at Una, Kangra along with other places of Himachal.

"We're contesting elections from your own funds and also have no sponsors for polls," Mayawati stated. Criticising the UPA government in the Center and also the BJP government in Himachal, she stated both made schemes and programmes for socio-economic upliftment from the poor, Dalits and lower-trodden however the impact of those programmes weren't visible which classes continued to be neglected and oppressed.
